- What is permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a custom-fit bracelet, necklace, ring or anklet without a clasp that has been welded together. (It can be taken off by delicately cutting the welded ring.) - Can I add more than one charm to my bracelet?
Yes, although we do require appointments for adding multiple charms. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate multiple charms at off-site pop-up events. - Do I need to make an appointment or do you take walk-ins?
While we cannot guarantee a "spark" without an appointment, we can often accommodate walk-ins. If you are adding more than one charm (birthstone) an appointment is required in advance. - What is the minimum "spark" age?
While we don't have a set age minimum, we do reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. *Although the jewelry is welded, in the instance of a break it could be a choking hazard to young children. - Is it safe?
Yes! Although, if you've ever had an allergic reaction to gold plated, gold filled, sterling silver or 14k gold, we don't recommend this process. - Does it hurt?
No, it does not! It's a quick process and we take every safety precaution to protect you. Only the bracelet gets sparked. - If I remove the bracelet, can it be sparked again at a later time?
Yes, if you need to remove your bracelet for any reason, we recommend carefully cutting the ring that was sparked. If you wish to get it sparked back at a later date we can certainly do that for you. The first re-spark of a Hill's piece is no charge - any additional repairs or re-sparks are $25 plus tax. We also offer permanent jewelry repair for items not purchased at Hill's for a fee. - I've tried wearing my permanent jewelry and I just don't think it's for me but I love my bracelet. What can I do?
We understand that it may not be for everyone. We do have small clasp available to purchase to make the bracelet removable whenever needed. - Can I wear my sparked jewelry through the airport?
Yes! Delicate fine jewelry is always allowed through the airport without having to be taken off. You would need to remove it for certain medical tests and procedures. - Do you offer private "Spark" parties?
Yes! We are excited to offer private "Spark" parties for birthdays, bachelorettes, or girls night out. We require at least 10 people to book a private event. We can host them after hours depending on availability. A $125 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. The deposit will be applied as a credit for your permanent jewelry on the day of your event.
